yes, this is indeed gaspard/dave dewaele. probably one of the best portrayals of gaspard i've ever seen. this is for the gaspard girls, trust me! you'll want to read it. delightfully smutty, well-written, slutty. gaspard in a queer shunga? need i say more?

if you haven't yet tuned in to this extremely well researched historical vampire au, you're missing out! get on that! this is probably one of the most hyped fics in the fandom at the moment and it's well worth the wait for every new update. i highly recommend it to anyone who loves gothic romance/literature, history or vampires in general. this is going to be a series too, so i'm very keen for that. this will probably be my favourite longfic in the tag once finished.

this is another ongoing work, but it's one to keep an eye on. i wanted to shout it out especially because it includes some poetry! there's so much potential for this ship to be explored outside of prose, and this hits the nail on the head for me and what i really want to see.

i wanted to round this out with a fave interview i like to watch whilst cooking dinner. it's nice to see them both relaxed, gaspard especially, in his own home. xavier is giving lesbian soccer player who crashed in the canadian wilderness with this outfit, so this interview is perfect for the bazooka cannon fodder.

lastly, trying leaflet out for fandom is new and honestly very exciting. i am always an advocate for cross-posting and trying to decentralise fandom, especially since the justice fandom feels very exclusive and limited to having fast-paced social media access. truthfully, i'm not a fan of that - i like a more slow-paced approach. working 100 hours a week (now in a national role!), i just don't have time or mental bandwidth for fandom at all.

the last year i've been experimenting with how to make myself feel "comfortable" in fandom, in a way that works for me. it's probably archaic but i've finally found what suits me by pulling my works from ao3 - indefinitely - in favour of posting on my own website. in a way, it's like the web shrines of old, which really is my main goal - to leave something behind that stands on its own!

it's up to you to discover it yourself. or you can message me for access. either way, it's in your hands.

now it just comes down to community, so thank you to those who actively seek out my work or have asked me for access to it, who constantly check on it and have told me they keep it bookmarked in their browser! i really appreciate it. for me, this feels far more rewarding.
